At the fourth Scottish Amateur Internations Show Jumping
Championships held at Dabbs Show and Activity centre , Scotland was
honorably crowned as "Internations" Champions. |
|
The winning team was made up from the highest placed Scottish riders that had participated in the Amateur Grand Prix held on the Saturday, generously sponsored by the local Provost Veterinary Group Those selected were Jenny Leckie with Miss Marco, Louise Bonthrone and Anique Jemelia, Gaynor Bryan with Hi Wave and Bertie Whiteford, Chair of the Amateur Committee, with her own Precious Promise.

A truly Scottish atmosphere filled the arena as spectators looked
on in admiration and listened to the familiar tunes of the Scottish
Bagpipes played skillfully by piper Max Stewart. |

Six teams took part in the Nations Cup with first place having to be decided by a nail-biting jump off between the Welsh and the Scots. The class was very kindly sponsored by J G Builders of Auchtermuchty, Drambuie and Horseware Ireland. |
