Cross
Country Photographs
Harry McMillan is a familiar face to
most equestrians around Scotland. He can be seen taking
his photographs of horses and riders at many equestrian
events, show jumping at riding clubs and BSJA shows,
eventing at Craigie, crosscountry at Blair Castle, Scone
Palace or Culzean Castle.
Show Jumping Pictures
Harry can be found at both pony club
and riding club events, taking pictures of horses, ponies
and riders show jumping, eventing, cross country and
even during dressage competitions from the side lines.
Harry's horse photographs capture the true spirit of
the sport, showing the power and grace of these remarkable
athletes during some of the most difficult of circumstances.
Competitors are always very pleased at Harry's presence
during these events and the pictures of horses and riders
that he has taken have left them with happy memories
that they will cherish for many years to come.
Perhaps some of Harry's best work is his amazing
collection of "crashers
and Croppers" A truly spectacular collection
of equestrian photography that capture those moments
when things haven't quite gone how they should have!
The only problem that Harry
encounters during some of these events is making sure
that the right rider gets the right proof. Sometimes
competitors do not supply their addresses and unfortunately
as a result, proofs cannot be forwarded on to them.
Some are late entries or have just entered on the day.
